Генассамблея ООН: К 2030 году ВИЧ необходимо искоренить
Генеральная ассамблея ООН приняла во вторник, 8 июня, декларацию по борьбе со СПИДом. В документе указано, что к 2030 году ВИЧ/СПИД необходимо искоренить как угрозу общественному здоровью. Об этом сообщает DW.
В последнюю минуту Россия попыталась внести поправку в декларацию, а именно — удалить формулировку, которая, по мнению представителей РФ, подталкивает к декриминализации проституции и употребления наркотиков. Делегация России заявила, что «под прикрытием» борьбы с дискриминацией несколько пунктов «пытаются напрямую вмешаться в национальное законодательство путем отмены так называемых ограничительных и дискриминационных законов».
Поправка была отклонена большинством голосов. Однако, как сообщило представительство России при ООН, российской делегации «удалось воспрепятствовать включению ряда положений .., в том числе таких, как всеобъемлющее образование в области сексуальности, сексуальные права, лишение родителей прав контроля над сексуальным и репродуктивным здоровьем детей».
